Easy DIY Charlie Brown Costume

Learn how to make a DIY Charlie Brown costume with a t-shirt and HTV. This is the perfect easy Halloween costume for a bald man.
My husband has started shaving his head bald, so we wanted to base his costume around that. Sometimes I have him wear more involved Halloween costumes, but this year I wanted something really, really easy for him and for me to make.
We decided on Charlie Brown because he’s wearing regular clothes and he’s bald. It was fun to put this costume together because the easy details carry the costume!

I used a eyebrow pen to draw this curl on my husband’s forehead. You could create something larger with fabric or paper, but we were going for simple and easy. He’s such a good sport about this curl!

Easy DIY Charlie Brown Costume
supplies
- Yellow polo t-shirt
- Black iron on vinyl*
- Cutting machine – Cricut Maker*
- Easypress*
Use your cutting machine to cut out zigzag strips from the iron-on vinyl. I cut out 6 and ended up using 4.
Weed the design.
Cut the strips apart so that you can place them separately.
Apply the iron on vinyl zigzags around the polo shirt just below the armpit. I would apply one and let it cool. Then I would peel the backing from one side and place the next zigzag. I would apply that one and let it cool. I did this carefully all the way around the t-shirt.
Be careful of the design on the other side of the shirt as you are going around. You could use the Easypress mat on an ironing board to make this easier.
Pair the Charlie Brown polo shirt with black pants or shorts, brown shoes, and a makeup curl on the forehead.
