Learn how to make different stuffed animals from the bear in the Squish Stuffed Animal Sewing Pattern. It’s so fun to create different looks.
As I was designing this pattern, there were hundreds of animals I wanted to make, but I had to draw the line somewhere. I couldn’t have a hundred options in this pattern, or I never would have finished it!
I chose four animals that are pretty versatile, and I’ll show you how to hack each animal to make other animals. Let’s see what the bear stuffed animal can become.

The bear version has rounded ears that can be folded or left flat. There are eyes and a muzzle with a nose sewn on top. There is also a tummy piece. It’s fun to mix and match the colors to make a different looking bear. I made two dark brown ones and a leopard print one in sizes small and giant.

I wanted to try a bright color with the brown. I love how it turned out, but it does almost look like a Boston Terrier dog.

Bear Squish Stuffed Animals Sewn by the Testers
I had some amazing testers sew up this pattern. It was so fun to see the stuffed animals they made. I loved they they used a mix of fabrics to show you all the different fabrics that will work for this sewing pattern.
Here are two of the foxes they made. Look at the adorable face of this gray bear, and the happy girl getting to hold it! That happy face is the reason to make these Squish stuffed animals!

Hacks for the Bear Squish Stuffed Animal Pattern
Turn the bear into a tiger or leopard by changing the fabric. That’s it! That’s the easiest “hack” ever!

I made the bear out of some tiger stripe fabric I had, and it turned out adorable. I love the pink nose and the fun stripes!

Turn the bear into a frog by changing the fabric, combining the ears with the top of the head, moving the eyes, eliminate the muzzle and nose, and adding a mouth.
