What do to with fabric scraps?
I often keep anything larger than a fat quarter for another project. I fold it up and keep it on the shelf.
I find a fat quarter is usually enough for most projects. For anything smaller I either make a scrap fabric sewing project, make a sample to practice a sewing technique, or I shred it to use it as stuffing in a future sewing project.
I have the hardest time getting rid of my favorite scrap fabric or fabric from my favorite sewing projects. I get really attached to the fabric even though I know there is always more fabric.
I just want to treasure the fabric that made me my favorite outfit. It’s best to use these scrap fabric in one of these fabric scrap project ideas so that I can save them and cherish them but using them in another way.

These are great! It’s looking like no school for my kids till fall, so now we have to navigate distance learning as well as distance working for both parents. Gah. These will be good to help keep us occupied. My boys will learn to sew!
