I am excited to share the boy’s 4th of July Outfit I made for my son. It has a lot of little influences from his heritage, and I refashioned two items to make this handmade outfit. It’s perfect for little boys!
He insisted on wearing those glasses for the photoshoot and they are the perfect finish for this boy’s 4th of July outfit.
For the pants I used some of my brother’s tan twill pants to make some adorable lederhosen for him. I didn’t go with traditional leather because it’s not and not conducive to toddler play or being washed all the time.
I used Compagnie M’s free Charles pants sewing pattern. I just shortened them from pants length and added some straps. This pattern had the perfect front pocket look for what I wanted.
